Autorretrato para los abuelos (Self-portrait for the grandparents) is a very dear and personal album I did in 2019. My grandparents used to have a house in the countryside, and as a kid we used to go there to spend the holidays, and some weekends. I wanted to make a sonic portrait of the house before they sold it, and so, with the help of Juan Luis Montoro, Ana-Maria Gătejel and Francisco Ureba, in three days in December 2019 I recorded a series of compositions, improvisations and soundwalks all around the house, in the spaces and with the objects that I held dear memories of. This album is the result of it. It was released in July 2020 on Bandcamp, and printed in gatefold case (cardboard CD) with a 12 pages booklet including photos and little descriptions about each one of the pieces, the locations, the microphones used, etc. You can see those booklet pages a bit below.
